  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 leek, cut into thin rings
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 200 g frozen peeled chestnuts defrosted, roughly chopped
  • 300 g spätzle egg noodles
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 80 g grated Gruyère
  • a little pepper

  • Heat the oil in a wide frying pan. Add the leek, sauté for approx. 2 mins., add the chestnuts and cook for approx. 3 mins., season with salt. Mix in the spätzli, fry for approx. 5 mins. Stir in the water and cheese, season.
