Spicy Beef Salad with Radish

  • 500 g rump of beef one whole piece
  • 1 red chilli
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 dl lime juice
  • 2 tbsp. dark sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp. light soy sauce
  • 2 bunch radish
  • oil to fry
  • 0.5 bunch flat-leaf parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 head lettuce with lettuce hearts

  • Cut the meat into strips approx. 5mm wide, de-seed the chilli, finely chop, crush the garlic. Mix the lime juice with soy sauce, chilli, garlic and sesame oil.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan, fry the meat in batches for approx. 2 mins., mix with the sauce, leave to cool completely.
  • Cube the radish, roughly chop the parsley, add both to the meat, season.
  • Break the individual leaves off the lettuce, arrange on plates and place the salad on top.
