Ingredients

  • Roasted strawberries
  • 1 tbsp thyme leaf
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar
  • 400 g strawberries, cut into approx. 5 mm slices
  • 0.25 tsp sea salt
  • a little pepper
  • Crostini
  • 100 g soft goats' cheese
  • 4 bread slices
  • 30 g hazelnuts, coarsely chopped, toasted
  • 0.5 tbsp thyme leaf

Instructions

  • Roasted strawberries

    Spread the strawberries and thyme leaves on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Dust with icing sugar, season.
  • To bake

    Approx. 1 hr. in an oven preheated to 120°C (convection). Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly. Turn the oven temperature up to 200°C.
  • Crostini

    Place the slices of bread on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Toast in the centre of the preheated oven for 3 mins. until golden brown. Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly. Spread with cheese, top with the strawberries, sprinkle with the nuts and thyme.
