Tapas: Chicken Kebabs with Olives and Sherry

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp. dry sherry
  • a little pepper aus der Mühle
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil zum Braten
  • 0.25 tsp. salt
  • 1 tin pitted green olives (z.B. Crespo mit Limone, 85 g)
  • 2 tsp. oregano leaves
  • 8 short wooden skewers

  • Cut the chicken breast into cubes of approx. 2 cm, transfer to a bowl and mix with the sherry. Marinate for approx. 30 mins. Heat the oil in a frying pan, fry the chicken all over for approx. 5 mins., season, remove and allow to cool a little. Place the meat on the skewers, alternating with the olives, and sprinkle with oregano. Serve slightly warm.
