  • 1 tsp. lime juice
  • 1 tbsp. peanut oil
  • 1 tsp. Thailand 7-Spice
  • 0.5 tsp. salt
  • 12 organic giant prawns, raw, peeled except for tail
  • 4 wooden skewer
  • 1.5 tbsp. ground raw sugar
  • 3 stick lemon grass, core of the vegetable finely chopped
  • 1 dl Water
  • 1 red chilli, insides removed, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp. fish sauce
  • 6 spring onions, cut in half lengthways
  • 1 aluminium barbecue tray
  • lime, cut into segments, to garnish

  • Öl, Limettensaft und 7-Spice-Gewürz gut verrühren. Crevetten damit bestreichen, zugedeckt im Kühlschrank ca. 1 Std. marinieren.
  • Zucker und alle Zutaten bis und mit Fischsauce in der Alu-Garschale gut verrühren. Bundzwiebeln beigeben, mischen.
  • Holzkohle-/Gas-/Elektrogrill: Zwiebeln bei geschlossenem Deckel über mittelstarker Glut/mittlerer Stufe (ca. 220 Grad) ca. 15 Min. grillieren.
  • Die Crevetten salzen, an die Spiesschen stecken. Die Spiessli auf den heissen Grill legen, beidseitig je ca. 2 Min. mitgrillieren. Crevetten und Zwiebeln anrichten, Limettenschnitzchen dazu servieren.
