Ingredients

  • Sauce
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 red chili, halbiert, entkernt, gehackt
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 150 g ketchup
  • 2 tbsp. raw sugar
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 3 tbsp. tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp. soya sauce
  • 2 tbsp. whiskey
  • Burgers
  • 600 g ground beef
  • 100 ml full fat cream
  • 1 pinch salt
  • a little pepper from the mill
  • oil to fry
  • Serve
  • 4 slices frying bacon
  • 100 g onion, coarsely chopped
  • clarified butter, to fry
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 tomatoes, in 4 Scheiben
  • 4 leaves iceberg lettuce
  • 4 slices cheddar (je ca. 30 g)

Instructions

  • Sauce

    Zwiebel, Knoblauch und Chili in Olivenöl/Butter andämpfen. Ketchup, Honig, Zucker, Tomatenpüree, Worcestershire-Sauce und Sojasauce beigeben, alles gut verrühren. Sauce aufkochen, Hitze reduzieren und die Sauce ca. 20 Min. köcheln. Den Whisky darunterrühren.
  • Burgers

    Hackfleisch mit dem Rahm mischen, würzen. Aus der Masse von Hand vier Kugeln formen und zu Burgern flach drücken. Öl in einer Bratpfanne erhitzen, Burger beidseitig knusprig braten.
  • Serve

    Speck in einer Bratpfanne langsam knusprig braten, herausnehmen. Zwiebeln im Speckfett knusprig braten. Brötli-Böden mit Sauce, Zwiebeln, Tomaten, Salat, Fleisch, Cheddar und Speck belegen, Brötchen-Deckel aufsetzen.
