Ingredients

  • 100 g chocolate spread (e.g. Nutella)
  • 3.5 dl full cream
  • 250 g soft waffles
  • 2 banana, cut into slices approx. 1 cm thick
  • 0.5 bag dark cake icing (approx. 60 g), melted
  • some Smarties
  • some hundreds & thousands

Instructions

  • Whip cream until almost stiff, fold in Nutella.
  • Place two waffles on a plate. Spread 1/4 of the mousse and banana slices on top, repeat the process until all of the waffles have been used. Top with the remaining mousse and banana slices, refrigerate for at least 1 hr.
  • Pour the icing over the waffle gateau and decorate with Smarties and sprinkles.
  • Tip:

    Also looks impressive when made with Betty Bossi heart-shaped waffles!
