  • Schokoladenmasse
  • 200 g white chocolate, crumbled
  • 200 g butter, in Stücken
  • 3 eggs, whisked
  • 80 g sugar
  • Teig
  • 150 g white flour
  • 200 g shelled ground almonds
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • Dekoration
  • 50 g white chocolate, in Stücken
  • 50 g hazelnuts, grob gehackt
  • Utensils
  • Für eine Gugelhopfform von ca. 2 Litern, gefettet und bemehlt

  • Schokoladenmasse

    Place the chocolate and butter in a thin-sided bowl and suspend over the gently simmering bain-marie.
  • Teig

    Mix the almonds, flour and baking powder and stir into the egg mixture. Pour the batter into the prepared tin.
  • Backen

    Bake for approx. 50 mins. in the lower half of an oven preheated to 160°C. Remove the Gugelhopf from the oven, allow to cool a little, tip onto a cooling rack and cool completely. Place the chocolate in a thin-sided bowl and suspend over the gently simmering bain-marie
  • Dekoration

    Schokolade in eine dünnwandige Schüssel geben, über das nur leicht siedende Wasserbad hängen, sie darf das Wasser nicht berühren. Schokolade schmelzen, glatt rühren. Auf dem Gugelhopf verteilen, Nüsse darüberstreuen, trocknen lassen.
