  • Chicken
  • 2 tbsp peanut oil
  • 0.75 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp tandoori paste
  • 1 chicken (approx. 1.1 kg)
  • Sauce
  • 300 g plain greek yoghurt, plain
  • 0.75 tsp salt
  • a little cayenne pepper
  • 70 g flaked almonds, toasted
  • 1 tsp ginger, finely grated

  • Chicken

    Combine the oil, tandoori paste and salt. Rinse the chicken (inside and out) in cold water, pat dry, coat with the spice paste, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  • To roast in the oven

    Approx. 50 mins. in the lower half of an oven preheated to 220°C.
  • Sauce

    Mix all the ingredients together. Serve with the chicken.
  • Serve with:

    Basmati rice.
