Ingredients

  • Dough
  • 500 g multi grain flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp sugar
  • 0.5 cube yeast (approx. 20 g)
  • 100 g dried sour apricots, roughly chopped
  • 100 g dried apple segments, roughly chopped
  • 50 g almonds
  • 3.5 dl milk water (1/2 milk, 1/2 water)

  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp milk

Instructions

  • Dough

    In a bowl, mix all the ingredients up to and including the almonds. Add the liquid, mix and knead into a soft dough. Cover and leave to rise at room temperature for approx. 1½ hrs. until doubled in size.
  • Shape

    Divide the dough into 12 portions, shape into round bread rolls and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Brush with milk and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  • Bake

    Place the tray in the centre of an oven preheated to 240°C. Immediately reduce the temperature to 200°C and bake for approx. 20 mins. Remove from the oven, leave to cool on a cooling rack.
