Degustation notes

Dark garnet colour, fruity bouquet of red berries and cinnamon, soft on the attack, dominant fruit on the palate, soft medium body,fine and well balanced with a spicy finish.

Special notes

Selected Valpolicella grape clusters are harvested in early October and dried for up to 3 months in small crates on straw beds or shelves. Weight loss is about 25 to 40% of the grape's initial weight, which concentrates the sugars and the extracts. The grapes arepressed in January, then aged in barrels for many years.

    Agrébale - Cet Amarone est encore jeune et manque de fruité et de corps. A laisser encore quelques temps se reposer pour pouvoir en profiter pleinement. Bon rapport qualité prix.

    Schlecht - Leider hat meine Flasch gezapft. Wir freuten uns so sehr auf den Amarone. Musste danach noch an die Tankstelle, da ich Besuch hatte... Nicht sehr erfreulich...
