Degustation notes

Beautiful bright garnet colour, a spicy bouquet with hints of anise and coriander, flavours that remind of plum with hints of stewed fruit and wooden barrel, beautiful aromatic diversity, soft on the attack, delicate juice, subtle tannins in the mouth, beautiful aromas of ripe fruit, notes of raisins, delicate tannins and harmonious through to the finish.

Special notes

Barolo - a small area south of Alba, produces one of the best italian red wines. Production is concentrated in Castiglione Falletto, Monforte d'Alba, Serralunga d'Alba as well as in Barolo and La Morra. The required ageing is 3 years and 5 years for the Riserva.

    Déception - J'achète ce vin depuis longtemps, je le trouve excellent avec un très bon rapport qualité-prix. Malheureusement ma dernière commande de 12 bouteilles (millésime 2010), j'ai dû tout rendre car le vin n'était pas bon, couleur bizarre, goût très différent que d'habitude, imbuvable . Au magasin, personnel très sympa, ils m'ont tout remboursé sans discussion.

    sehr gut - Dieser Barolo passt sehr gut zu Käse und rotem Fleisch. Hatt einen guten eigenen Charakter.
