Gérard Bertrand

Goes well with

Seasoned dishes, grilled food, lamb, roast, well seasoned unique dishes, hard aromatic cheeses

Degustation notes

Dense dark purple colour, a fine, delicate bouquet, richly varied, accompanied by notes of blackberries and cherries with a hint ofmint and toasted, nuances of eucalyptus, a very fine wine, very ample on the palate, fleshy, reminiscent of dark chocolate, an expanded texture and beautiful elegance, very concentrated with perfect tannins.

Expovina 2014 - Gold [EN]

Special notes

Produced from very old vines; the Cabernet Sauvignon are some 25 years of age and the Merlot vines are even older, at 40 years old. Gérard Bertrand is the chameleon of wine growers in southern France. His Cigalus, is one of the best wines in the region. With histhree domains; L'Hospitalet, the Villemajou and Laville Bertrou, he's at the forefront of the appellations.

Fruchtbombe - Ein äusserst fruchtig betonter Cigalus. Wie immer mit feinen Eukalyptusaromen. Auf alle Fälle ein Trinkgenuss besonderer Art. Die Haltbarkeit ist schwieriger einzuschätzen. Mal sehen, was die Zukunft bringt.

Spitzencuvée aus dem Süden - Der Cigalus ist ein Bio-Klassiker bei Coop. Seit vielen Jahren begeistert dieser Spitzenwein die Liebhaber gehaltvoller Südfranzosen.
