Degustation notes

Dark, dense garnet colour, a spicy bouquet accompanied by distinct aromas of wood, good concentration and roundness on the palate, soft and melting, blooming aromas of blackberry, well-built, typical ripe fruit notes, a medium-long finish and beautiful balanced. A very pleasant wine to drink.

Special notes

Valpolicella, located west of the Italian region of Veneto, is one of the most famous red wine production zones in the country, along with the Chianti area. This wine is, most offen, a blend of Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and Molinara grapes. The Ripasso (literally "pressed") is a process that requires special attention: the red wine marc (the dried grape skins) from the fall's fermentation, is added to the red wine that has been fermenting since the beginning of the year. This process takes 15 days to complete.

    Potente, concentrato, ricco: un grande ripasso sulla strada verso un "piccolo" amarone, cui poco ha da invidiare. Sostiene con forza piatti di una carta caratura e impegno. Non abbiantelo a cose troppo delicate perchè ve le uccide. Buon rapporto qualità / prezzo: ottimo quando è in azione!
