A delicate floral bouquet, reminiscent of ripe peach and apricot, pleasant spices, very dynamic, superb freshness, very harmonious and long, a successful balance between sweetness and acidity.

Special notes

The Fetzer Vineyards is the largest vineyard in the AVA (American Viticultural Area) in California, Anderson Valley in Mendocino County. It was founded in 1958 by the forester Barney Fetzer and his wife Kathleen on a ranch of nearly 740 acres. Fetzer cellars became famous for their pioneering role in organic farming. They began producing red wine with Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel grapes, then in 1977, a white wine made from Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer and Riesling grapes. To further improve the quality of their wine, to the smallest detail, Fetzer produces the oak barrels they use in Hopland. Very few wineries have their own cooperage. Whole trees are purchased and processed into traditional barrels in a secular tradition. In 1992, Brown-Forman acquired the Fetzer, Bonterra andBel Arbor brands, including Redwood Valley Vineyards and Hopland Fetzer Valley Oaks Center.
