Degustation notes

Dark garnet colour, a ripe bouquet of raisins with floral notes, aromas of leather and wet leaves, intense on the palate with nuances of ripe berries, well defined structure, fresh acidity, full-bodied. A very tannic wine, long on the palate, that combines all the characteristics of a Nebbiolo, can be enjoyed now but also ages very well.

Special notes

Barolo - a small region south of Alba, that produces one of the most famous Italian red wines. Production is concentrated in Castiglione Falletto, Monforte d'Alba, Serralunga d'Alba as well as Barolo and La Morra. Ageing is prescribed for 3 years, and 5 years fora Riserva. Matured for 24 months in barrels.

    Solala - Der Wein ist enttäuschend, Säure ist zu stark betont. Vielleicht kommt's noch mit zursätzlicher Alterung. Stand heute ist Preis-Leistung ungenügend.
