Degustation notes

Deep purple colour, an intense blackberry bouquet, cassis and cherries, a dominant fruity body, pleasantly ample and slightly spicy, discreet tannic structure and a long aromatic finish.

Special notes

The Argiolas family vineyard is located about 20 km north of Cagliari, in the southern half of Sardinia. The domain was founded in 1938 and covers 230 hectares. The region benefits from nutrient-rich soil and a very pleasant climate. The owner Antonio Argiolas and his son, the oenologist Giuseppe Argiolas' philosophy, has been applied for decades. It has wonthem awards and prizes all over the world. Antonio Argiolas is currently among the most famous winemakers in Sicily. The wines produced by the family domain sets standards for producers in the region and distinguished by excellent value for money. This wine is aged for one year in barrels, the Superiore naturale for two years and the Riserva for three years.

    der schlechteste Cannonau di Sardegna ever... - Wir können uns den Voten der meisten Vorbewerter in keinster Weise anschließen.
    Dieser Cannonau di Sardegna entspricht in keiner Weise einem gehaltvoll/aromatischen Sarden.
    Die Beschreibung des Weines muss von irgendwoher kopiert worden sein. Wir konnten kein intensives Fruchtbukett und keine Tannine ausmachen. Der Abgang ist keines Falls aromatisch im Sinne einer Grenache-Gärung sondern erinnert eher an Spirit.
    Da empfehle ich den doch etliches günstigeren Campos Valzos.
