Degustation notes

Dark purple colour, pronounced cassis on the nose, earthy character, supple on the attack, average power, lovely, enveloping tannins on the palate, easy to drink, with balanced berry aromas into the finish.

Special notes

Carmenere is an old grape variety from France (Bordeaux), now updated, was long confused with chilian Merlot. Today, it is vinifiedalone and is finding more and more appeal with wine enthusiasts.

    Super Preis-Leistung! Der Wein ist ziemlich ausgewogen (Tannin, Säure und Alkohol) und für den Preis absolut empfehlenswert.

    Excellent everyday wine - Much better wine than the price would indicate. Carmenare is tasty and the Cab provides some structure. Screw top is a plus. This works with everything from oily fish to grilled meat. Not great, but no strange cheap wine notes.

    zu leicht als Essensbegleiter - die Beschreibung von Mondovino kann ich nicht teilen. Der Wein ist sehr leicht und weisst eine meiner Meinung nach zu grosse Säure auf. Ich würde den Wein nicht als Essensbegleiter wählen. Der Wein taugt als Rotweinapéro zu Knabergebäck oder als "gespritzter" Rotwein. Ich war von diesem Wein etwas enttäuscht und hätte mehr erwartet.
