Special notes
Château Branaire is a well-known winery in Bordeaux. Since the 1855 classification, it ranks as a Quatrième Grand Cru. It is located in Saint-Julien, directly in front of its magnificent neighbour, Beychevelle. This property of fifty or so hectares is of medium size. The vineyard consists of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot. The vines average 40 years of age.
