Degustation notes

A beautiful bouquet of ripe berries, with scents of strawberry, a generous body in the mouth with well integrated fruitiness, good structure, evident tannins, with pleasant spicy notes at the finish.

Special notes

Salgesch - is the red wine capital of Valais. A collapse of the mountain during prehistoric times provided the terrain with a particularly high proportion of calcium and magnesium, which is also the reason for the strong presence of red grape varieties (87%), Pinot Noir in the order of 82% in itself. An AOC for red wine made from Pinot Noir alone or a blend of red grapes grown in Valais, thatmust reach at least 83° Oechsle. This blend must contain at least 85% Pinot Noir and Gamay, of which Pinot Noir is dominant.
