Wine information

Wallis, Switzerland

Goes well with

Hearty, strong meat dishes like lamb and wild game

Degustation notes

Intense cherry red colour, a fruity blackberry and blueberry nose, which evolves into beautiful woody notes, vanilla and toasted scents reminiscent of barrel fermentation, a typical Syrah with black pepper accents, a supple and round attack on the palate, with a return to typical woody nuances, nice structure marked by intense flavours of ripe fruit and noble tannins, powerful and long at thefinish.

Special notes

A red grape from the Côtes du Rhône, whose origin is supposed to be from Shiraz in Iran. Is cultivated with great success.
