Degustation notes
Intense ruby colour with hints of maturity, aromas of cassis and blackberry with a scent of stewed fruit, ripe fruit with a dash ofc innamon and cloves, soft tannins and a long finish.
Special notes
Owner: Bossuet-Hubert Vineyards in Cars. The castle above Blaye is easily recognizable by its dungeon; a rectangular tower with crowned edging and carvings from the time of the Huguenots. The wine is pleasant with a light structure along with a touch of cassis and black cherry. Matured for 8-12 months in 1/3 new oak barrels. Wine growing surface: 58 hectares.
