Dark ruby colour, a spicy bouquet with nuances of cinnamon and raisins, strong aromas reminiscent of plum and dried fruit, fleshy and soft on the attack, good concentration on the palate, a well structured body, aromatic on the palate and long at the finish with slight bitterness.
Special notes
In the Valle Talloria in Diano d'Alba, the Giordano family has been producing a wide selection of classic wines, since 1900. The company was founded by Ferdinando Giordano, grandfather of the current president of the company, and then taken over later by his son Giovanni. Today the leader in direct wine sales, Giordano is now one of the largest wine distributers in Italy. Despite its growth, the company has retained the character of a family business. In a century, four generations have been constantly pursuing the same goal: preserving the tradition and philosophy of the company while ensuring customer satisfaction. DOC for the red wine from Puglia. The area extends along the south coast of the Salento peninsula and includes the provinces of Brindisi and Taranto. These dark red wines with purple hints are reminiscent of a Zinfandel. For a long time, it was thought that the Primitovo and Zinfandel grapes were identical, in fact, they are only related.

-
from Andrew on (Rated vintage: 2015) 3.0easy to drink but lacking in body
-
-
from Andres on (Rated vintage: 2015) 2.0Nicht überzeugend, pflaumig. Typisch für einen Massenwein, wo Dutzende verschiedene Primitives gemixt werden.
-
from Arthur on (Rated vintage: 2014) 2.0"" - eine reine Enttäuschung. Vom Primitivo nur der hohe Alkoholgehalt vorhanden, die typische Süsse von der Traube fehlt komplett, kein Abgang einfach nichts. Lieber einen höheren Preis für einen richtigen Manduria investieren!
