Special notes

In Valle Talloria in Diano d'Alba, the Giordano family has produced a wide selection of classic wines since 1900. The company was founded by Ferdinando Giordano, grandfather of the current president of the company, and then taken over later by his son Giovanni. In the early 1950's, thanks to Giuseppe's entrepreneurial spirit and Ferdinando Giordano (respectively Giovanni's brother and son), asmall family business turned into a dynamic operation and product quality improved considerably. The concept, which is to expand direct sales to private customers in new and innovative ways by using marketing such as direct mail and distance selling, turn out to be a great success. In recent years, the company has grown tremendously: its position in the domestic market has consolidated and export capabilities have increased considerably.
