Degustation notes
Deep ruby colour, an expressive nose in a surge of red and black berries, typical, enhanced notes of laurel and lavender, fullness in the mouth, a strong fruity presence with a few woody nuances, mature, well-balanced tannins and a varied aromatic range.

The southern Rhone Valley is known for strong wines, which are usually produced from several grape varieties. Rasteau is an independent municipality in the community of Vaucluse in the southern French Cotes du Rhone-Villages appellation. The municipality displaysits name on the label. The vineyards cover 750 hectares of vines on calcareous brown soil, marl, reddish soil and sandstone.
