Degustation notes

Youthful purple red colour, a sweet nose that delivers aromas of redcurrant jam and sour cherry supported by fine woody notes, ample on the palate and well concentrated, powerful, with beautiful nuances of ripe blackberries and tannins that persist into the finish.

Special notes

Vineyard Domain Colle degli Ulivi. This 18 hectared domain was founded in 1932 by Bernardo Caversazio and is now covered with vinesand fruit trees, located on the Three Mendrisio territories. The vines are planted on terraces, 40,000 of Merlot, 5000 Chasselas and3000 Chardonnay. The bottle labels are famous painter Gino Macconi's creations.

    Unser Hochzeitswein 2003 und immer noch bestes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für einen Tessiner Merlot, auch wenn der Wein nicht mehr bei Tamborini gekeltert wird. Fruchtiger, fein strukturierter Merlot mit Abgang. Ideal zu Tessiner Küche, von Coniglio über Polenta bis zu Formaggini. Auch als Dessert immer ein Genuss.
