Degustation notes

A very floral nose that contains hints of yeast, very forthright, well balanced attack on the palate, delicately fruity and lively,medium roundness with a slightly bitter finish. A classic that is well known beyond Swiss borders.

Special notes

A wine growing commune and the center of the Chablais wine region. The vines cover 130 hectares with 83% white, that is mainly Chasselas. 17% red, planted with Pinot Noir and Gamay. A wine museum was built in 1971 in Aigle Castle, that dates back to 1179. Currently, the third generation of the family business is run by Henri Olivier Badoux. The family owns 55 hectares of vines in Aigle, Yvorne, Ollon, St-Saphorin and Chardonne. In addition, it produces the wine for an additional 45 hectares.

    Der bekannteste Chasselas der Schweiz - Oft wir dieser Wein 'Eidechsliwy' genannt. Er ist wohl der bekannteste Wein der Schweiz. Auf steilen Terrassen angebaut, profitiert der Rebberg von viel Sonneneinstrahlung. Auch im Keller erfährt der Wein sorgfältige Pflege – wie es sich für diese Prestige-Marke gehört. Der Wein hat schon sehr viel Auszeichnungen gewonnen und wird weiterhin ein Klassiker der Schweizer Weinszene bleiben.
