Degustation notes

Clear pale yellow colour, a powerful floral bouquet, lots of finesse, lively and fresh at first, strong on the palate with delicately balanced fruity nuances, aromas of lime accompany a mouth with good character. A very appealing aperitif wine from Basel.

Special notes

A wine-growing commune in the canton of Basel State. The total vineyard area of 3.9 hectares, is mostly in the communes' possession. Especially the white wines, Riesling-Sylvaner and Chasselas and Pinot Noir. The most recent knowledge indicates that the Riesling-Sylvaner designation printed on the bottle label is false. Genetic studies have shown that the cross was actually made from Rieslingand Chasselas (more precisely: Royal Madeleine). But the law still allows the old appellation to be used.

    Naja - Also leider werden meine Brfürchtungen bestätigt: der 15er ist noch etwas schwächer als sein Vorgänger. Was macht denn der neue Winzer? Er arbeitet ja mit denselben Trauben wie sein Vorgänger!

    Schlipfer 2014 - E nätte Wy, aber nit eso stark wie vorgängigi Johrgäng! Emol luege, wie die näggschte usekömme.

    Schlippfer 2014 - Naja, irgendwie ist der 2014er nicht mehr dasselbe wie die früheren Jahrgänge. Woran kann das liegen? Hat sich personell etwas verändert? Ich wäre für eine Erklärung dankbar!
