Degustation notes

Medium garnet red, ripe, fresh Pinot Noir aromas, roasted notes from barrel ageing, youthful tannins. This wine deserves to age a bit.

Special notes

Famous for their "Burgunder"" (red wines made from Pinot Noir grapes), Kaiserstuhl is located 90 km north of Basel. The grapes for this wine come from the wonderful Achkarrer Schlossberg climate. After being harvested by hand, careful vinification is done in the cellars of the estate. The wine acquires its maturity after 12 months of oak barrel ageing.
