Pio Cesare, is a seasoned producer from Alba best known for his Barolo and Barbaresco. The vineyard surface area is 33 hectares andproduces about 320,000 bottles. Barolo, a small area south of Alba, offers one of the best italian red wines. Production is concentrated in the towns of Castiglione Falletto, Monforte d'Alba, Serralunga d'Alba as well as Barolo and La Morra. The required ageing is 3 years and 5 years for Riserva.
