The worst wine I ever drunk
Basel-Landschaft AOC Maispracher Auslese Buess Weinbau
- CHF 17.05
- Price per 10
Goes well with
Entrées, meat based dishes, pasta, red meat
Bright ruby colour, a very typical Pinot nose with nice fruitiness, aromas of ripe berries, slightly bubbly on the attack and a hint of acidity before evolving to being medium bodied, supple and expansive, with delicate spicy notes, typical of Pinot, a pleasant length that returns to fruitiness.
In Maisprach, in the canton of Basel-Country, the presence of wine production is confirmed in 1328. 11.5 hectares of vineyards, mostly planted with Pinot Noir but also Riesling-Silvaner. Buess company markets most of the wine, thus contributing to its important reputation.
