Degustation notes

Deep, almost opaque cherry red. Berry fruit on a complex nose, showing cherry and plum, mint chocolate and some cedary notes. Lots of fruit concentration on the palate, with dense tannins, a chewy mouthfeel and good depth of flavour. A must buy.

Special notes

With 2988 hectares of vines, the Côtes de Castillon appellation vineyard area has more than doubled between 1974 and 2000.
