Degustation notes

A bright colour, an intense nose with aromas of cherries and red berries, slightly spicy. Supple, round and harmonious on the palate, with notes of ripe red fruit, soft tannins and a long finish.

Special notes

Owner: SC du Château La Gurgue. Under Bernadette Villars' management, and now her daughter Claire Villars', this estate produces one of the best Cru Bourgeois from Margaux. With a vineyard area of 10 hectares, it is one of the Château Margaux's nearest neighbours. Aged for at least 12 months in ¼ new oak barrels.
