Degustation notes

An unknow vintage that will not go unnoticed this year, and for good reason: it has a beautiful deep garnet-red colour, an expressive bouquet with aromas of ripe cherries, vanilla and wood. Ample on the palate, complex and dense, with intense black fruit notes. Long and fresh at the finish.

Special notes

This wine is from a small vineyard in the Margaux appellation, inherited from his father in 1980, Régis Bernaleau developed the twoproperties in Braude and Mongravey. Today the 19 hectares of both domains are distributed almost equally between the Margaux and Haut Médoc appellations. In 2003, his passion for wine and the quality of his work is rewarded with the classification of both properties to a Cru Bourgeois during the historical Crus Bourgeois du Medoc revision. This success is the result of several years of viticulture rigor, in the greatest respect for the vine. In parallel to all this hard work, large investments were made to modernize and expand the facilities. The air-conditioned cellar, equipped with 450 French oak barrels from ten different barrel makers, which ensures the complexity and quality of the wines during maturation.
