Dense ruby colour, a strong berry nose, typical scents of overly ripe raspberries and strawberries, delicate barrel notes, full-bodied on the attack with a nice concentration of fruit and finesse, aromas of ripe black berries and plums, a well defined structure with average ampleness and good length.

Special notes

Founded in 1859 by Mr Louis Jadot, the domain has always been located in the center of Beaune, at the heart of the vineyard. Housedin a 19th century mansion, it has superb cellars linked to the Couvent des Jacobins (15th century) only two steps away. The perfectsetting for their events. Led by three generations of Jadot, then Mr André Gagey for 30 years, the domain is now in the hands of his son Pierre-Henry assisted by Jacques Lardiere, Cellar Master of the domain since 1970. The Maison Jadot overseas a domain of over 140 hectares of vines in Burgundy only, of which over 70 are on the Côte d'Or and are essentially Premiers and Grand Crus.

Zu teuer - Viel zu wenig Frucht und Komplexität. Fast schon wässrig. Für diesen Preis ist das eine Frechheit. Jahrgang 2013
