Degustation notes

Deep garnet red, generous, spicy berry aromas with ripe notes of plum and damson, a touch of stewed fruit with jammy hints, multifaceted with typical oak aromas, quite light on the palate yet beautifully balanced, showing oak hints again and some racy spiciness, delicate tannins accompany the finish.

Special notes

Cune (Compania Vinicola del Norte de Espana) is one of the oldest and largest producers of Rioja. Originally, the area was founded by French vintners, today it belongs to the Vallejo family. Numerous storage halls filled with small, old wooden barrels stacked to the ceiling, the impressive old wine cellar and its tens of thousands of decade old bottles are proof of a glorious past. Today, Cune counts on innovation and has, with its ultramodern equipment to receive and vinify its grapes, a wine cellar where tradition and technology work together in perfect harmony.
